This is a detail from an enormous panel painting by Nicole Eisenman, whose opening I went to after dining freeganly.
Look at the creature's book, splayed open in the dirt! He is too distraught to read, even. I love you little green monster! I'm delirious. Must save strength for children.

I clicked through to your photos and saw the NEXT one from this painting - of the big naked person surrounded by thousands of adorable puppies! Now that's my idea of a great fever-induced delirium. Hope you get feeling better soon.
